This series is part of a longterm 35mm film project started in 2016. It began as a sort of diary focusing on my immediate family and our natural surroundings. Gradually I found a certain visual language in some of the pictures that have grown into a fragmented story about childhood, sense of place and the present of time. My further intention is to suggest other visual narratives through the aesthetics of domestic life and the nature we inhabit. The use of film has been a percistent choice because it gives me a more real sense of being present when shooting an image.
